Jungle Guide at the Conservatory of Flowers
Volunteers are trained to lead 3rd and 4th Grade classes through the Conservatory.
The tour curriculum is designed to compliment the California State Science Content
Standards for Grade Three and Four.
This is an ideal volunteer opportunity for anyone who:
- has an interest in plants, life sciences/biology
- enjoys working with children
- wants to instill in children, an appreciation and care for nature and inspire them to be curious about their world
- is available two weekday mornings per month (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), upon completing training
