Park Leadership Society

The Park Leadership Society is an important group of donors who champion the cause for parks and recreation by providing financial support to San Francisco Parks Trust, formerly Friends of Recreations and Parks. Society members’ care about their city and care about the state of their parks. Over the past thirty-three years, the Park Leadership Society has provided critical financial support to preserve and improve the vitality of San Francisco Parks. By joining this distinguished group you provide funding for essential and important park projects, opportunities for neighborhood park groups to achieve their goals, education and stewardship, and a brighter future for our parks.

All San Francisco Parks Trust Members receive these basic benefits:

  • Unlimited FREE admission to the Japanese Tea Garden (with valid membership card)
  • Subscription to the Park’s Voice our quarterly newsletter
  • Subscription to the Parks Network, our monthly email newsletter
  • A 10% discount on SFPT merchandise at the San Francisco Parks Visitor Center at Union Square and the Conservatory of Flowers Store, as well as a $25 gift certificate at the same locations.
  • A 10% discount at all Books Inc., Urban Farmer Stores, and Sports Basement locations
  • Invitations to the Holiday Party at McLaren Lodge, the Annual Members’ Reception, Members’ Night at the Conservatory of Flowers, and the Beach Chalet Reception
