Who We Are
The Friends of Noe Courts Park was formed to organize fundraising and volunteer efforts, and to provide a voice for the community to ensure that the Noe Courts Park is a compelling, safe and well-maintained space that better serves the needs of the community as a whole. Our efforts include representing the community’s interests to the city and other groups on all park related issues; working to solicit funds from the city, corporations, foundations and individuals to provide for park improvements; and organizing volunteer efforts for park fundraising, maintenance and other activities that will help provide a compelling, clean and safe place for the community.
About Noe Courts Park
Noe Courts Park is a small, multi-use park located along Douglas Street between 24th Street and Elizabeth. Approximately the size of one half of a city block, Noe Courts Park contains a basketball court, tennis court, small children’s playground and a grassy area that is a popular recreation spot for Noe Valley residents and dogs.
The city of San Francisco has already committed $175,000 toward an initial improvement of the children’s playground and park fencing. The Friends of Noe Courts Park is working with the city and community to raise additional funds to complete this project and make additional improvements to the park in the future.
