We have a few types of volunteer opportunities:
- Done-in-a-Day
- Street Parks Gardening Days (weeding, planting, clean-up)
Saturdays, 10 am - 2 pm (please RSVP so we know to bring you a lunch!)
- One-time Projects (Special Events, Plant Sales)
Varying times depending on event
- Office Support
Flexible hours Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4:30 pm
- On-going
- Become a Golden Gate Park Guide
- Provide weekly office support or work on a special project
- Create a park or public garden in your own neighborhood (SFPT will provide assistance)
- Develop an intern position (must be 25 years or younger, stipend available)

PARK(ing) Day is a one-day, global event centered in San Francisco where artists, activists, and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform parking spots into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public parks.
